MEET THE SPEAKER

Speaking History


 I  have been an International Speaker for the past 20 years. I've addressed hundreds of audiences in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Belgium, Qatar, And 12 different African countries over the years. My audiences have included, CEO's, Executive Directors, Women in Leadership, Entrepreneurs, Youth in Leadership and a host of other groups.

 My motivational talks draw from my experiences as a high altitude mountaineer and as a woman in mainly male dominated environments. My mountaineering career spans 5 continents and 14 expeditions, with 2 expeditions to Mt. Everest and 3 to Mt. Kilimanjaro. I have helped groups with Strategic Thinking, Leadership Development as well as general Engagement and Inspiration of the workforce. Climbing Mt. Everest, and the analogy it provides, has proven to be an effective method of helping audience members visualise the challenges they're facing - in overcoming challenges, staying focused, staying motivated and also dealing with set-backs.

In business and in life, I have experienced some dramatic and humiliating lows and some incredible highs. I share candidly and there are no holy cows about the content of my life experiences. It all helps the audience to identify with me, by reflecting on their own journeys, while climbing there personal Everests.

Achieve a Peak Performance Mindset

How do high altitude mountaineers think? As a person who has had the privilege of climbing some of the world's highest peaks in some, quite gruesome conditions, I have had to, on many occasions,  watch how climbers respond to the goals they set and the way they make decisions under such high-risk circumstances. For instance - In 1996 Mt. Everest experienced its worst disaster in the history of people trying to summit. This event was so cataclysmic that the book Into Thin Air    has been turned into a Hollywood movie and several TV off-shoot series.
